Flanders Kennels currently owns three breeding females: Erewhon’s Twain’s Prediction (Halley), acquired from Erewhon Ferm LLC (Missouri) in May 2020, Olga (Oozora), acquired from Stacy’s Mastiffs (Indiana) in February 2023, and Adara Ridge Tempean Tanzanite (Tanze), acquired from Adara Ridge Boerboels (Michigan) in July 2021.
Halley
Erewhon’s Twain’s Prediction (Halley) is a stunning light fawn AKC-registered Mastiff bitch with black interspersed throughout her coat, that I acquired from a well-established Mastiff breeder (Erewhon Ferm LLC in Golden City, MO) in late May 2020. She was born April 3, 2019. Halley underwent OFA health testing in April 2021 and has great hips, normal elbows, heart, and clean bloodwork. She whelped a litter in Spring 2022 that I am mondo impressed with, and I am hoping for another litter from her in Spring 2023. She weighs around 145 lbs and stands 28 1/2″ at the withers. She has an absolutely beautiful head, one of the most stunning fawn coats I have ever seen on a Mastiff, great angulation in her back legs, and a nice build. She has a very submissive and sweet personality. She loves to be loved and follow you around. She is vocal and expressive when getting attention, but otherwise a pretty quiet and very well-behaved girl. Alexa (Retired)
Alexa [89.0% at 19 mos.] was born Oct. 22, 2018. She is an absolute sweetheart and was a dream puppy! No crying, almost no chewing, fairly quick potty-trainer, and gets along great with other dogs. She’s got a lot of spunk when she gets wound up. She is very protective of me and cautious around new people, but once she’s established that a new person is not a threat, she willingly accepts adoration and happily reciprocates. She is very compact, but solid; a terrier/bulldog-type Boerboel. She is down to a lean and healthy weight of 98 lbs. Alexa had a singleton pup out of Onyx in Nov. 2020, but I was not content with her hip radiographs, so I have pulled her from my breeding program. She will now be a nanny dog to my other pups unless a perfect fit permanent home can be found for her. Ruby
Magni Ruby Don’t Take Your Love [90.9% at 21 mos.] was born Jan. 23, 2020. This gorgeous hound-type girl is NABBA and WBBA-registered with some rare and valuable Nostra’s Zero bloodlines on her mother’s side. Ruby earned a silver medal in her first WBBA conformation event, Nov. 2021 and a gold in 2023! She is a mostly a quiet couch potato, but she has her moments, and she is very alertive. She is a super sweet and submissive girl that will give endless kisses. Ruby has been one of the easiest dogs to potty-train that I have ever owned. She is intelligent and strong-willed. She is a big, beautiful bitch, standing 27″ at the withers and kept lean, around 135lbs. Ruby completed health testing in Summer 2021. Hips are good (OFA and PennHip) and heart has been cleared via echocardiogram. Unfortunately, she did not pass elbows (have preliminary report available upon request). Tanze
Adara Ridge Tempean Tanzanite was born May 17, 2021 and is a ginormous bundle of energy! She is AKC and WBBA-registered and earned a first place gold medal in her age class at the 2023 WBBA Conformation Show! (she got bronze at her first event in 2021 and silver in Spring 2023). This girl has gorgeous top half conformation and an absolutely stunning head. She weighs in at around 110lbs. and stands nearly 26″ at the withers. Tanze comes from a long line of amazing farmstead working dogs (predominantly Blackwell/Mizpah) that are healthy and live a very long time. She has a ton of drive, but is very trainable and eager to please. I expect great things from her. Tanze passed her OFA echocardiogram, has OFA excellent hips and normal patellas, but one mild elbow. I am planning two litters with her. At least one will be with Onyx. Zora
Oozora (formerly Olga) is a beautiful, athletic fawn Mastiff girl, born September 8, 2018. I acquired her from Stacy’s Mastiffs & Corgis (Rochester, IN) in 2023 and she has whelped a couple of litters already. Zora is a very energetic girl that loves to play and hump, but also has a very sweet and cuddly side. She is a smaller girl, standing 26 1/2″ at the withers and weighing around 120lbs. Zora has thrown only 10+ pup litters so far, and she didn’t disappoint in Nov. 2023 with a litter of 12, out of Theo.
