Thanks to finally being blessed with a normal-sized litter of pups and the wonderful families who bought pups from me this year, I was able to make a $1000 donation today to my local shelter, Cass County Animal Control in Cassopolis, MI, of which they were very grateful for. Flanders Kennels has a deep commitment to responsible and ethical breeding and breeders giving back to their community to help dogs in need, at rescues and shelters. Unfortunately, the past few years have not been very fruitful and I was not able to make a donation, but hopefully I will continue to be blessed in the future and can help more area shelters and rescues.
